Intraoral Cameras

Our intraoral camera allows both our team as well as our patients to get a much better look at their smiles. This device is slightly larger than a pen, and it fits comfortably into the mouth to capture high-resolution images of the teeth and gums. These can then be displayed on a monitor right next to a patient so both they and Dr. Tamo can go over them. Now, you’ll be able to see and better understand your dental needs so you and Dr. Tamo are always on the same page.

3D Impression System

Dental team member capturing 3D bite impressions

Dental impressions are an important first step for many treatments, but in the past, creating one used to be very uncomfortable because it required a patient to bite down into cold, odd-tasting dental putty for minutes at a time. With our Trios Scanner, however, we only need to take a few non-contact scans of the teeth to create an exhaustively-detailed digital model of them. Compared to the old way, this approach is faster, more comfortable, and way more accurate.

All-Digital X-Rays

Digital dental x-rays

X-rays are an essential tool in our dental office because they allow us to see beyond the surface of the smile where many oral health problems show their earliest symptoms. Since upgrading to fully digital X-rays, we’ve not only been able to improve our diagnostic process but save patients time as well. Digital X-rays create much sharper images compared to traditional film, and they take less time to do so as well. Better yet, the process also emits up to 90% LESS radiation, which helps put many minds at ease.
